🔄 BETA: Core Configuration Asset Sync with The Advanced Automated Documentation Add-On

• Being released for BETA later this month in US based environments - automatically sync and update documentation in IT Glue for configurations, changes, and system information across the IT stack, expanding our existing documentation capabilities to include the seamless integration of core configurations, rather than just flexible assets.

• This improvement enables you to respond to client needs faster, reduce manual effort, and eliminate human error with automated updates and seamless syncing.

• This will be an add-on feature that will be free to use during the beta period.

🔎PHASE 2 BETA: Strengthened Visibility and Compliance with Asset Discovery and Inventory of Identities

• Expanded identity management now includes accounts from Duo and OneLogin, along with visual interface improvements. Initial inspectors include Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Dark Web Monitoring, Duo, and OneLogin.

• This is the first rollout in an effort to provide complete visibility into all assets, with device discovery and inventory capabilities being released in early 2025.

💻 Palo Alto Beta Inspector Enhancements – Improved Network Monitoring and Visibility

• We are enhancing the Palo Alto beta Inspector by adding metrics and actionable alerts, as well as standardizing the underlying data to align with our other firewall inspectors.

• This update enables more proactive identification of misconfigurations on Palo Alto devices and better aligns with our Cyber Asset Discovery and Inventory, providing greater visibility into the Attack Surface.

⬆️ Time to Upgrade! Legacy Addigy Inspector Deprecation

• The legacy Addigy inspector will be deprecated in January 2025 and retired in June 2025.

• Partners must upgrade to the newest Addigy inspector for improved performance and parent/child environment support.

Enhanced Mailbox Rules Data 📧

Secure and audit your clients' mailbox rules policies with Liongard's enhanced Mailbox Rule data view table.

You can now navigate to the “Mailbox Rules” table in the Exchange Online section of the Microsoft 365 System Details to find email security critical details, including external forwarding rules in mailboxes to prevent the unauthorized redirection of sensitive emails to external accounts.

New Per-Environment Agent Installer 🦁

You can now download a pre-configured agent installer for a user-specified environment, making agent deployment at scale a breeze!

This installer doesn’t require the usual inputs for the environment, API keys, instance URL, etc., making agent deployment easier and reducing the need for complex deployment scripts.

Enhanced Email Security Data 📧

Quickly identify and address critical email-related security threats with a new and enhanced version of our Domain/DNS Inspector.

These enhancements include more detailed configuration data regarding SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, allowing you to more effectively identify, alert, report, and address misconfigurations that may lead to email spoofing, phishing attacks, and other email-related security threats.

New Active Directory Inspector Version Coming Soon ⚙️

• This newly designed Active Directory inspector version will remove the inspector’s dependence on WinRM and ADWS, making it safer, easier to configure, and faster to inspect.
• Your current Active Directory inspectors will automatically upgrade in place when the new version is released.
• ⚠️ Please note that if your Active Directory inspectors are configured to use remote inspection (running an inspection from a server other than the domain controller), you will need to reconfigure them to ensure that they return the full breadth of data that the inspector can provide. ⚠️

Windows Server 2012 Support ⚠️

• Liongard is ending support for Windows Server 2012 on agent versions 4.2.4 and greater. Microsoft deprecated support for this operating system version on October 13, 2023.
• Liongard recommends upgrading your systems to a supported operating system version to utilize the latest supported Liongard agent version.
• Partners still needing to inspect systems running Windows Server 2012 may continue to use agent version 4.2.3; however, this agent version has now reached End of Maintenance (EOM) and will reach End Of Life (EOL) effective May 31, 2025
