Hi there,
🚀 New Capabilities for Smarter Inventory, Simpler Workflows, and Enhanced Partner Engagement
This month’s updates bring major strides in data coverage, automation, and partner collaboration. From AI-powered insights to expanded regional support and smarter inspector handling, May is all about giving you more control with less effort.
👀 Sneak Peek: AI Asset Insights (Public Beta)
- We’re previewing a new AI-generated summary feature in Asset Inventory while in public beta. This functionality surfaces key insights and highlights critical data through a vCIO or CISO lens.
- Generate powerful summaries at the asset level to surface critical data, prevent oversight, and encourage richer asset documentation.
-
Note: This is a preview of a feature and available for a limited time.
🖥 Asset Discovery & Inventory – Devices: Expanded Network Inspector Coverage
- Device inventory now includes new compute devices discovered via VMware ESXI, Synology NAS, Managed Printer, Hyper-V, and HP ProCurve.
- This deepens visibility across critical infrastructure, helping partners manage patching, licensing, and configuration states more comprehensively.
🌐 IT Glue Pro Sync is Now GA – EU & AU Support Added
- The IT Glue Pro Sync integration is now generally available, with full support for EU and AU IT Glue tenants. Here’s how to activate it.
- This ensures partners across all regions—especially our large base in EU and AU—can fully leverage configuration sync with confidence in data residency.
🔖 Asset Inventory – Identity Tagging Now Available
- You can now create and assign custom tags to Identities discovered in the Asset Inventory. This feature improves searchability and classification, enabling more efficient management of user and service accounts.
- Partners can assign up to 10 unique tags per Identity, with full support for both individual and bulk tagging workflows—laying the groundwork for deeper insights and future integrated analyses.
🗓️ Smarter Scheduling: Automatically Disable Failing Inspectors
- Inspections that consistently fail due to setup issues will now have their scheduling automatically disabled.
- This avoids repeated failures, reduces system load, and improves workflow efficiency—all while giving you clear guidance and control to restart when ready.
🔎 Sneak Peak: Network Discovery 2.0 Now Live
- Enhanced discovery through ICMP and port scans, intelligent SNMP credential use, and expanded SNMP OID collection.
- Supports multiple credentials for SNMP v2/v3 and uses NMAP for deeper, more robust asset visibility right out of the box.
-
Note: This is a preview of a feature and available for a limited time.
📣 New Feedback Experience: Transition to Canny
- Partners can now submit, vote, and track product feedback directly via our new integration with Canny. You can find this in-platform. Click “Product Feedback” under the Support menu.
- Get email notifications and view a public roadmap with status labels like Complete, In Progress, and Next Up—so you always know where your input stands.
