Hi there,
Here's a quick overview of our July 2024 release!
New and Improved Inspector Management ⭐
- Inspector management has been streamlined to allow bulk editing of all inspectors.
- The new bulk edit feature allows you to edit configurations such as scanning additional ports, subdomain scans, and even credentials in bulk.
- This quality-of-life improvement drastically decreases setup time, enabling your teams to deliver value faster.
Modify Network Discovery Inspector Default Settings 💥
- More quality-of-life improvements are here, including the ability to edit the default configuration settings for Network Discovery inspectors.
- Users can now preconfigure the default ports, SNMP versions and protocols, and external IP scan toggle for any newly created Network Discovery inspectors.
MFA Enforcement Details via Security Defaults Available 🔒
- Liongard has developed new logic into the Cyber Risk Dashboard to provide you with critical details on MFA enforcement based on security defaults.
- Surfacing security defaults further strengthens the Cyber Risk Dashboard by enabling you to identify and mitigate any potential risks associated with authentication.
Active Directory Inspector Refactor ⚙️
- The Active Directory inspector has been modernized to improve security, performance, and reliability in larger Active Directory environments.
- Active Directory inspectors in large environments will notice improvements in performance with fewer timeouts.
- Liongard will remove the inspector’s remote inspection capability as part of this effort. Please review this Knowledge Base article for instructions on reconfiguring your Active Directory inspectors for local scans.
Watch out for a new exciting feature before our next release in August. Once the feature is released, you will receive an in-app notification when you log into Liongard.
Per-Environment Agent Installer
- Download a preconfigured agent installer for a target environment to make agent deployment easier.
- Per-environment agent installers will have all required inputs preconfigured in the installer package, removing the requirement to pass those inputs during the point of installation and reducing the need for complex installation scripts.
