Hi there,

This month brings visual network mapping, a more complete asset inventory, greater control over AI, and six new Beta Inspectors to help you uncover gaps and keep customer environments running smoothly.

🌐 Trace Network Issues with Network Topology Explorer

Now available to every partner in Open Beta, Network Topology Explorer maps how devices connect across a customer’s network using data your Inspectors already collect.

  • Explore subnets, trace connection paths, and identify unmanaged devices to investigate connectivity issues with more context.
  • Find it in Asset Inventory > Devices. Maps populate as inspections run, with no additional licensing or setup required.

🔎 Get a More Complete Picture of Your Assets

Asset Inventory now brings together identity and device data from 12 additional Inspectors, expanding visibility across cloud accounts, local users, security tools, and network infrastructure.

  • Include accounts from Anthropic Console, AWS, Azure, SentinelOne, and more in access reviews, alongside local Windows and Synology NAS users.
  • See additional firewalls, access points, and switches from Fortinet FortiManager, SonicWall Capture Client, Barracuda CloudGen Firewall, and Datto Networking.

New records appear automatically after the next successful inspection.

💻 Put Your Existing RMM Data to Work

Asset Inventory now surfaces richer hardware, operating system, warranty, and lifecycle details from supported RMM and endpoint management Inspectors, without requiring the Liongard Endpoint agent.

  • Use more complete device records to support hardware refresh planning and improve matching across data sources.
  • Across 12 Inspectors, Last Seen now reflects activity reported by the source integration, giving you a clearer picture of stale devices.

✅ Keep Managed Status and Device Counts Current

Devices now receive Managed or Unmanaged status automatically based on their source data and activity, helping keep inventory and billable device counts aligned.

  • Devices not seen for 45 days move to Unmanaged and return to Managed when seen again. You can override automatic status when needed.
  • Inventory states now use clearer names: Discovered, Managed, and Unmanaged. Update saved filters, reports, or internal documentation that reference the previous names.

🤖 Choose Your AI Models and Set Company-Wide Guardrails

Roar Assistant now offers more AI models, while new admin controls let you decide which providers your organization can use across Liongard’s AI features.

  • View each model’s AI Insight Credit rate before selecting it. Auto remains the recommended option and never selects models with rates above 1×.
  • Manage allowed providers in Company Settings > AI Insights, or set a default model and disable user overrides for a consistent company-wide choice.

🔗 Connect AI Tools with Your Liongard Login

Liongard MCP now supports OAuth sign-in, making it easier to connect supported AI tools through browser authentication and approval.

  • Honor existing SSO and MFA requirements while keeping access tied to each user’s identity and environment scope.
  • Supported clients include Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Zed. OAuth is enabled per service provider; existing Bearer Token connections continue to work.

🛡️ Get More Security Context from Huntress

The Huntress Inspector now collects incidents, behavioral signals, escalations, and operational warnings to help you spot issues needing attention.

  • Investigate exposed ports, identity coverage, and remote access tools alongside each customer’s existing configuration data.
  • New data appears after the next inspection, with no setup changes. The Inspector remains read-only.

🔎 Extend Visibility with Six New Beta Inspectors

Bring more of your customers’ security, backup, and network tools into Liongard:

  • SonicWall NSM: Track firewall availability, firmware, configuration backups, and security-service status.
  • Palo Alto Prisma Browser: Monitor tenant health, SSO, content filtering, and data-loss-prevention policies.
  • Blackpoint Cyber: Review security posture, detections, vulnerabilities, and dark-web credential exposures.
  • Axcient x360Cloud: Monitor Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backup health and protection coverage.
  • Bitwarden: Track privileged access, two-step login coverage, and security-policy enforcement.
  • Cisco Business Dashboard: Monitor network devices, firmware, warranty coverage, and end-of-support dates.

These Inspectors are available in Beta and may evolve based on partner feedback.

⚙️ Take More Control of Agent Maintenance

Starting with Agent 5.5.0, agents check for updates on each heartbeat, helping machines catch up shortly after coming online.

  • Choose Early Access, Stable, or Long-Term Support release trains, and set update windows organization-wide or per agent.
  • Identify duplicate agent identities caused by cloned machines and use Auto Resolve to separate them. After resolution, review Inspector assignments and move them if needed.

Update timing: Updates can now occur during business hours. Configure an update window if your team needs them restricted to specific times.

⚡ Also Worth Knowing

  • More complete NinjaOne data: Improved collection captures all pages of API results, addressing underreported counts in larger environments.
  • Eight new NinjaOne datasets: Hardware, patch history, policy overrides, and more are available for custom metrics and alerts. Backup Usage requires NinjaOne Backup licensing.
  • Richer UniFi Cloud records: Devices now include status, first-seen date, and site/location.
